stepping

The last in this series. The pictures were done whislt on a day trip to Camber sands, a long swathe of beach that runs from Hastings to New Romney. In the low tide the sand flats stretch out for a long way and here and there they never dry completely forming shallow pools. I got a couple of friends to strike a few poses, then cropped and inverted the images later. I liked the way the outline breaks up or else how the sand seems to take over in places. I also like the muted colours. I feel they are painterly images.
