![]() We've had some amazing weather recently. Huge fronts that come and go in minutes, skies that turn dramatically black, bringing hail stones, snow and every possible permatuion of precipitation. One evening walking back from work I looked up to see the sky turn an odd yellow before it chucked it down with a vigour I've rarely seen in Britain. This sought of sky always brings to mind William Faulkner's, 'as I lay dying', where he frequently makes mention of the portenous sulpherous air. | |
